SB 5996 - Commercial shellfish fees

Section 1

  1. The department shall not increase fees above the amounts established as of June 30, 2025, for:

    1. A commercial shellfish harvest license;

    2. A shellstock shipper license;

    3. A shucker-packer plants license;

    4. An export certificate;

    5. Biotoxin testing; and

    6. Paralytic shellfish poisoning monitoring.

  2. The department shall not impose any additional licensing or use fees for commercial shellfishers, shellstock shippers, and shucker-packer plants through June 30, 2027.
